Who uses my tickets? / How do I know my tickets are being used by a child or youth?
Children, youth (5 to 18 years old), and families are selected by Kids Up Front approved agency partners through which the child, youth or family is receiving support services. Kids Up Front policies and guidelines are in place and agreed upon by the agency partners to ensure donated tickets are used as intended to benefit families in need in our community. Allocation policies are also in place to ensure that donated event opportunities are broadly distributed to maximize the impact for kids and families. Kids Up Front agency partners sign an agreement in which they agree to strictly abide by the Kids Up Front policies that state the tickets must be used by eligible children or youth and a suitable adult chaperone. Additionally, Kids Up Front performs random checks.
Who supervises the child?
A suitable adult is selected by the agency to supervise the child. Generally, the adult is a youth program coordinator, mentor, volunteer, parent or caregiver.
Does a child have to be present to use the tickets?

Kids Up Front cannot accept tickets on a Friday for a weekend event. Tickets need to be received at least 48 hours before the event. We need time to notify the agencies and they need time to contact the families. This allows Kids Up Front enough time to find a suitable recipient and get the tickets into their hands. Tickets are not accepted over the weekend as we’re closed.
Can I donate tickets for a same day event?
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that the tickets will be used if donated the same day for evening events. This may not provide sufficient time for Kids Up Front and the partner agency to select a child or youth and coordinate logistics on their behalf.

You receive an event announcement about an upcoming opportunity (including when it is, what type of tickets, and when we will be sending them out)
Your families submit requests on our Experience Hub. Agencies then login to the agency portal and just click “approve” for those requests which tells Kids Up Front how many you need
On the date we’ve noted on the event announcement, we approve/deny your request based on availability and you will be notified by email. If you have been approved, we send you the tickets and you just transfer them to the family who is already waiting.
